I GOT THE JOB!
Yesterday I landed the job as Project Manager at Mediaplanet. It is a job I have always wanted and one I have been striving for since I started studying. I never thought that I would get it, so I applied just for "fun" to see. But after three interviews and case presentation, I got it and I couldn't be any happier! I start on Monday!!! SO SOON! Stina is really growing up!
See what did I tell you?
Sometimes good things have to fall apart so that good things can fall together :) http://www.mediaplanet.com

You know, the weekends.
This weekend has flown by quickly! On friday I had my final interview at Groupon and before the day was over, they had offer me a position! :) I couldn't have been any happier!!! It was to my surprise and to many others that I landed that job! BUT I DID! Tomorrow I will receive another decision from the other company that I have had interviews with (won't tell what company before I know their decision) and after that I will know where my future holds. I don't know which job I want the most yet, but both of them are amazing and I would be lucky to get to work for either of the companies! I am just so happy that life is finally planning itself out a little bit. On Saturday Amanda came to visit me in Stockholm and we spent the day shopping and ate sushi and just walking around, cuddling up in the sofa with candle lights , doing facials at night and then making a luxurious dinner! It was the perfect saturday night! Today I have been finishing up my case for tomorrow and now I am off to watch a movie. It feels so good! It finally feels like I am starting to get routines into my life. I'm happy :)

1.
As she felt her heart racing, faster than ever before. It wasn't only a fast heartbeat, it was a hard beat. She didn't recognize it; it wasn't fear, it wasn't anxiety, it was more peaceful, but so unbearable.
As she sat down on her couch and took a deep breathe, she heard the door bell. She couldn't bare to stand up at first, but then the door bell rang again. She knew she had to open, even though she knew what was waiting for her on the other side of the door. As she slowly reached the door and opened it slowly, she saw his face. His face was the most familiar face in the world. She knew every little spot on his face, every line that revealed his emotions. Only this time, there were no longer any emotions across his face. His big brown beautiful reindeer eyes met hers. Her heartbeat was slower than it had ever been, just a few hard and painful beats. She knew from the second their eyes met that it was game over. She knew, she had lost him. she couldn't hug him, she couldn't even say anything, she just guided him to her bed and they sat down. The silence had crowded the apartment. It was as if someone had pressed mute. They sat down and he held her right hand and played with her silver ring, which he always did when he was trying to find words to express something difficult. Then finally the silence broke and he uttered the words "I have been thinking and I finally know what I want..." She realized that there was no point in fighting for it any longer, she had failed and she could only surrender. She could only say "I agree..."
They didn't say much, they just held each other tightly. She wrapped herself around him, with both her legs and arms, a doublehug that she always used to give him when the boy needed a little extra love, strength or just a little extra dose of happiness. She hugged him as tight has she possibly could. So tight that she could feel their heartbeats join one and other. She knew this was maybe the last doublehug she would give him. As she hugged him, the years of their time together just flew past her. Everything from the night he had looked into her eyes asking to be her boyfriend, to nights where they had watched the stars in the desert to just an average night baking or just laying and staring at each other. She felt her heart start racing and her nose starting to tingle, she hugged even tighter, thinking it would help to fight back the tears. She knew she needed to be strong for him now. Looking into those sad beautiful brown/hazelnut eyes, she could see the pain he was struggling to hold back.
As the corner of his eyes filled with tears, her heart tore right down the middle. She hated those sad reindeer eyes, there was nothing worse. So she did what she did best; made him smile.

I finally got my Wini!
Some people wonder why I would want a star... Well ever since I saw my first falling star when I was 5 years old on a sail boat in Turkey, I have always wished for my very own star. So as I was in my tears one night, I decided I had had enough with these dark days. Everything else around me may not be the brightest at the moment, but my star sure is and it will always be the light in the dark! :)
So I decided that whenever I feel like I need a little extra strength and happiness, I shall look up to my star Wini to remind myself of who I am. It may seem cheesy and absolutely ridiculous to some people, but to me it is by far the best present I have ever given myself. I mean, how many people have their own star??
So if you are ever feeling down and need a little extra Wini in your life, you can look up at my star and get some positive energy from it as well.
Next on my to do list:
Go to the dessert of Nevada on 12.12.12 (because it is probably the place with the clearest night sky I have ever seen) and pull the car top down and lay and watch my star, Wini.
Bertil.
Today this little fella came into the Oerwen family! His name is Bertil and he is my little sister Kajsa's puppy. Bertil is the most bad ass puppy there is out there. for sure. Other than that my day was spent trying to get my drivers license... No joke, I am about to give up. I am starting to think that it would be better if I spent my time trying to get rich, instead of trying to get my drivers licence. Because if I get rich, I can just hire a driver to drive me around anyways. Seriously... I just got back from seeing the James Bond movie. Definitely a must go!There is something about bond, that has made my love undeniable since I was about 5 years old. Tomorrow, I have a packed schedule! I have to go back to Groupon tomorrow for my final interview and then I have another meeting later on in the day. LIFE IS KIND OF EXCITING RIGHT NOW. :)

Knowing who you are is the greatest wisdom a human being can possess. Know your goals, what you love, your morals, your needs, your standards, what you will not tolerate and what you are willing to die for. It defines who you are. I have learned not to obsess over being number one all the times. Sometimes not being number one gives you the incentive and the courage to fight harder; it is motivating. Have patience. Have grace. Be secure enough in yourself to base success on personal growth. Take at least twenty minutes every day to be still and quiet. Time to sit in complete silence. Think. Reflect. Dissect your thoughts and feelings. Relive any mistakes from the day before. Decide how to be smarter and tougher, how to be more committed and considerate of others and more sensitive and aware of your surroundings. Choose something you learned that will make you a better person. Choose to be happy and positive. Live like the blessed human you are. Define you. Knowing who you are allows you to create your own beautiful legacy.
