its a little sunny hunny

It has been nothing shorter than a great weekeend. First I was in Stockholm for a few days but then I went to Uppsala to visit Henrik and Engel; we all went swimming and tanning on Saturday during the day. Then later that night Henrik and I went to Sollentuna to make a 3 course dinner for his parents! Not too shabby I must say. Then today we just spent the entire day just enjoying summer. We built a trampolin, jumped on that for a bit, we went rowing with a boat and then suntanned out in the ocean (it was so nice since henrik pretty much did all of it. :D) Then we went longboarding! It is so much fun. I want to get really good at it so that we can just be cruising. Since we will be moving to Cali, we must know how to Longboard!
Well I had a great weekend and that is thanks to Henrik, the best boyfriend you could as for.

Now Henrik is sleeping and I can't sleep but i need to get crankin its 5 am and i need to be up in 3 hours. So here are my pictures ANNNNNND good night :)

a few days in the down under.

This week I went down to Skåne to visit my girls. It was so nice to see them all, even if it was just for a day. It is always just as fun as it was last time we saw one and other. I love it! Hard to see everyone though! But i did my best. Now I am back in Stockholm :)

20 things I have learned in my 20 years.

I am sitting here thinking about a few things that I have learned from the day I was born to now, a month before I turn 20.

1. If you aren't having fun, then you aren't doing it right.
2. "Hakuna Matata" always makes you smile - in any kind of situation.
3. Times doesn't heal everything - Its what you do with that time
4. Kiwis make my tongue itch - yet its my favorite fruit.
5. There is 3 sides to every story - yours, the other person, the truth.
6. Complaining doesn't make anything better, just makes you annoying to be around.
7. You train people how to treat you.
8. You won't succeed in anything without making mistakes along the way.
9. You always have something to be grateful for.
10. Being able to laugh at yourself is probably the most important characteristic. For you and the people around you.
11. You should have all kinds of different friends, otherwise you learn NOTHING.
12. Always be honest. - Truth always comes out to bite you in the ass otherwise.
13. Being generous is the best way to show love.
14. You won't love everyone and everyone won't love you.
15. Love changes you.
16. It's the small things that counts.
17. Always be kinder than necessary - everyone you meet is fighting some kind of a battle.
18. There is no such thing as BOREDOM - you can ALWAYS ENTERTAIN yourself.
19. You do get smarter from reading books.
20. If you smile, the world gets a little brighter. :)

Today we took a little roadtrip from stockholm to Nyköping and then to Uppsala for about 30 minutes to see Henrik to then go straight to the airport to head down to Skåne!
It was such a lovely day. I am now going to sleep with a smile :)
See how much a car ride can do to your day? DO IT! go roadtrippin!

A Nina.

Yesterday I got to hang out with my friend Nina! We just chilled the entire day in the park and in the beautiful 29 degree sunny weather and had lunch. It is so nice to see her since we used to spend pretty much every summer for like 5 years together in France and I haven't seen her so much since then. But this summer things will change! Now we are both in Stockholm, so there will be plenty of lunches, dinners, dancing and bikram yoga happening! Well I just wanted to thank you for a lovely Saturday. <3

love.

I'm blinded by your presence
In this moment that we're in
If God was to describe you
Where would he begin
Your colours blend together
And you become the light
If only you could see the way you shine
Darling, when you tell the world you're mine

You're the future I believe in
I know you, through and through
Your each and every heartbeat, every breath
Eveytime I look at you
You're mine, against all odds my love
What we have, it is unbreakable

Same old same old.

This morning I woke up really early and was feeling a little ill until I logged on to facebook to go see that my maddy was online. After about 3 hours of skyping I am feeling just fine again.
You may see from these photos that maddy and I aren't normal. At least not together. Long distance may suck but we sure do make most out of it. She really is my vitamin C and without her I honestly don't know what I would do. And everytime we speak it reminds us why we are best friends, because only we would be able to put up with each others weirdness. She is my best friend. Simple as that. Mwah! Thank you for always putting a smiling on my face Madeleine B.

My birthday cake!!! make me one :)

Advice from Somewhere

ONE.
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO.
Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE.
Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

FOUR.
When you say, "I love you," mean it.

FIVE.
When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.

SIX.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN.
Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT.
Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

NINE.
Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

TEN.
In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.

ELEVEN.
Don't judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE.
Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN.
When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

FOURTEEN.
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

FIFTEEN.
Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

SEVENTEEN.
Remember the three R's:
Respect for self;
Respect for others;
Responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN.
Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

NINETEEN.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

TWENTY.
Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

TWENTY-ONE.
Spend some time alone.
