I want to do this!

Today I am spending my day in Stockholm. It is freezing cold, but the sun is out and it is absolutely beautiful! I have an interview at Groupon in a couple of hours so I decided to stroll around Vasastan with my new camera and take some nice shots. I will upload them later. I went to a café somewhere around St Eriksplan, a nice cozy place. I have never just sat and had a coffee by myself at a café. I am working on a couple of paintings that I have had requested from a couple of different people.
Recently I started making some cool paintings, and I have even sold a few. I am making my own website for them and some other stuff, where you can check them out later. But now I am going to sip on my cappuccino and let my creativity evolve into something beautiful for people to put on their walls. :)

10 things that I do to be happy :)

1. Learn to accept things you can't change. If you can and want to change them, then do it. But you have to accept that you can't change everything, sometimes you just have to accept that you have done everything you can.

2. Let go of the people who are holding you down. If you just considered them, you already know who these people are.

3. Always listen to your favorite music and sing as much as you can, even though you suck and dance with every step you take. That way walking becomes more fun!

4. Go for a run. A nice, long run. Doesn't matter how long it is, or how many minutes. Just run until you feel good and refreshed. You will at least be tired enough that the feelings will seem less major.

5. Call someone you love. Just hearing their voice can make your day better.

6. Smile at a complete stranger. It will make both of you smile. I mean, it's not like a person won't smile if you smile straight at them and if they don't, who cares?! all you did was waste a second smiling and it did at least trick the "euphoric" enzymes in your brain into thinking you are happy, which will make them send out happy and energetic adrenaline throughout your body, which will make you feel better. A win and win situation!

7. Give a compliment to someone!

8. Make a list of things that you have accomplished today, or this week or maybe even this entire month.

9. Watch your favorite movie

10. And realize that you are your own biggest critic. People do not see the faults in yourself that you do. Realize that they are not faults, not imperfections. They are the things that make you, you.

The first halloween party of this year.

The snow and the cold has just hit Sweden and then I found this photo, I need to go somewhere. I really need to tick of my drives license so that I could go and do something fun. Seeing this photo makes me want to go somewhere and surf.

Ben Cocks feat. Nikisha Reyes-Pile – So Cold (The Good Wife trailer)

A really good song. Pretty depressing, but very powerful. I really like it.

Plural of ob-sta-cle
Noun: A thing that blocks one's way or prevents or hinders progress.

What is fate to you. What does fate even mean? We call it fate or a coincidence, a coincidence that things happen, a coincidence to why you meet a certain person. Like there always has to be a reason to why everything happens, to why you run into someone. Maybe! A part of me feels that, things happen to make us realize things that lead us to decisions that we make, decisions that affects our future and the obstacles that are about to come our way, it's sometimes even our decisions that cause these obstacles in our lives. But how sad would that be, if everything had a purpose. Wouldn't it be easier if we just accepted that somethings didn't have a reason, that things just happened? I believe that people come into our lives because we needed them at a certain point, and that "neededness" found something reassuring in the other person. And then one day when you may not need the things you needed a few months back or maybe even years, you no longer need them, and then you are so lost because you can't figure out why you no longer feel anything. I don't know if you are following me. But, I think I figured it out, it's all just very simple. Things aren't meant to last forever, it's why a book is divided into chapters, because all events are little chapters in our lives, that lead us up to the ending of the book. It's not just one long 350 page long book. It's a 15 chapters book. It's life.
The sooner you realize it, life will be alot more exciting. Because you are reassured that other things will lay ahead.
You can't start a new chapter if you keep re-reading the last one.
 New chapters are coming.

simple as that.

You know sometimes life really sucks. Sometimes life gets so hard that you can barely take it anymore. Sometimes it can be stressful, but most importantly it can be disappointing and things don't turn out the way you were hoping and all you want to do is cry. You feel that you have done absolutely everything and it is the only thing left to do. BUT sometimes life is pretty great. Life is beautiful. Sometimes life is just happy, and all you want to do and maybe even can do, is to smile. Sometimes you just need to stay positive, and push through the hard times. WHY? Well simple, because life is worth it.

No such thing as destiny.

What I have realized is that as time goes on and the days flow by me, I have started to understand; what is supposed to last, will last. What doesn't, doesn't. Time does solve most things. And what time can't solve, you are going to have to solve for yourself. Time is just a tool that you can use in order to give yourself the time to realize something, but when it comes down to it, only you know best. and it is only you, yourself, that have your answers, and it is only yourself that can do something about it.

Ed Sheeran – Give Me Love

Daily Gesture.

Give your umbrella to someone less unfortunate then you.
Yes, you may get wet. But at least you have a home to dry up in, unlike someone who will spend their nights getting ammonia.
The other day it was absolutely pouring down rain and I past a homeless man who was drowning in the flooding streets of Stockholm. Yes, I may have gotten completely soaking wet from head to toe, and my hair was completely drenched in water and my make up was completely running down my face rest of the night. BUT it was so worth it, knowing that it may have helped him a little. But most importantly  it did at least put a smile to his face and made that grey day a little bit brighter. Its a small gesture, but can make a  big difference.
