Day 8: 3 hour boardwalk-walk!

Today Henrik, Peter and I walked along the boardwalk. A walk that could have taken 30 minutes ended up taking us 3 hours. Well from the view of a few of these pictures, you may understand! It was a nice day, not the best so far. But hey I shouldn't complain! Henrik and I found a really nice apartment, a little pricey but it is at least a little bit better than living on the streets, which we soon will if we don't find a place! After that I went for Bikram Yoga, it was so nice!! So Now I will be going there everyday. Tomorrow my dance classes start! First going to SDSU to study then it is dance time for 5 hours after 3 pm. Woop woop!!! Then it's taco tuesday! It will be my first tacotuesday! =)

Day 7: Sunday Airshow!

Day 6: Party party!!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day in San Diego, not a single cloud in the sky! We met up with a few people on the beach and then we went for lunch at a restaurant right by the beachside. Then we just walked around in this beautiful surrounding, I can't stop smiling when I think about it. Because it's not like paradise beautiful, but it is so relaxed and laid back, not a single worry in this world do the people from san diego have, no stress what so ever. Then we went out on the town! Which was fun! Today I am up rise and shine early for my morning run on the boardwalk, then it is airplane show! OHhhh!!! Stay tuned for pictures!

WHO LOVE'S COOKIE DOUGH? I DOOOOO!!!!

I woke up really early this morning to make chocolate chip cookies!!!!! ahhhhh!!!! Ended up eating half the dough.... BUT SOON THE OTHER half of the dough will be ready! yayyy!!!!

Day 5: An afternoon on the beach!

 Henrik is still not better... But hopefully getting there. Hasn't eaten anything the past 72 hours so he is wiped out. But we managed to go down to the beach today where we just relaxed and ate strawberries! Then we went shopping at this huge outlet please! CRAZY! bought way tooo much! I will post pictures of that tomorrow. Tomorrow I have my first dance class and then I am signing up for Kitesurfing lessons, and then hopefully we are going out to party!!! Woho! By then I promise I will have a little camera to show even more photos :) 
But for now, nighty night. 

Day 4: School time!

Day 3- Mission: Getting Henrik healthy!

Today we did absolutely nothing! Henrik has been pretty sick all week, but got really bad during the night. So when he finally got up this morning I took him to the hospital, where we ended up spending the entire day. He had to have an IV drop as they ran alot of tests. It was really scary because when they were putting in the IV drop, his eyes rolled back and he started shaking  and his entire face went white, even his lips! they said he had a seizure, but he was back after only 20 seconds or so, but he was so tired and cold the entire time. Now we are back home and dead as dogs! He is not allowed to eat for another 24 hours. Poor boy! So I'm gonna have to give him so extra loving! :)

Day 2: Shopping!

Today I woke up really early, due to the jetlag probably, and went for a run along the boardwalk at 6 am. You would be surprised of how many people are out in the morning! I then just sat on the beach and watched the surfers surf to sunrise, it was so gorgeous. Again, the scenery is so beautiful you can't keep yourself from smiling. Then Henrik had to go to school so I decided to do some shopping. I bought too much! :) But good stuff! Unfortunately, the only thing I forgot, which was the whole reason of going shopping, was to buy a camera! So I will do that tomorrow instead. Henrik got really sick during the day and had to go to his University's hospital, he's been feeling bad all week, but it got really bad today. As we were riding the bus back to Henrik's place, we met up with a guy who was selling his car, which Henrik also bought! Very nice. A convertible, which will be be nice here in the sun and perfect for when you go surfing. You can just pop your boards in there! Anyways, Now it's time for bed. We're getting up early to go surfing in the morning. Sleep tight everyone.

Day 1 - Mission: getting tanned.

So I have arrived! I am finally in San Diego. Henrik and I checked into this really nice along the San Diego shoreline hotel, it was very nice. Since it was our 6 month anniversary, we wanted to make it a little bit special. It was so weird to see him again, it just wasnt real. I couldnt stop touching his face, because it felt so surreal. The first night we literally didn't do anything; we just ordered room service laid and looked and each other and talked all night. It was so nice. We woke up pretty early the next day, had our breakfast at the hotel and then just laid by the pool and tanned and swam pretty much all day, and success! i'm tanned ! haha i fit in now with the rest of the people. Then we went to Wallmart! of course! stoked up on all the american goodies which i have been missing all year. So 111$ of candy! good stuff! haha
Then we went back to his place, which is a cute little beach house. It is so nice and right by the beach. Yet, we are trying to find something else so that we both can live in, since this will be a bit crowded with Henrik and I and his 2 other rommates. Good guys though!
I will get my American number today when I go shopping, so I will send it to those who needs it :)
Other than that I am in paradise. And I am happy as a bee! It is weird when you meet someone you love so much, after a long period of time and you don't really know what to expect, but when you see them everything makes sense. I am a whole again. It's like the puzzel is complete again... It's nice and I haven't stopped smiling since I got here.

A winglini feeling

I don't even know where to begin. Last night was STIL fashion show, which we have been planning since January. It was the best feeling watching everything. I was so proud of my group members for what they have accomplished and amazed with all the designers and our gorgeous models. 
Today, it is my final day in Sweden. It feels weird. It doesn't feel like I am really leaving. I am very excited to go to San Diego, explore a new city, dance every day and to see Henrik. But it is weird when you leave people behind. Because it is not like I am moving forever, I will see everyone in 4 months. But it is still an important part of my life that I am pausing. I like my routines. I like my friends. I love Uppsala and everything that revolves around it. So I may not be sad about it, but I have this weird feeling about it. I'm going to call it.....hmm.... the winglini feeling!! Yea, that describes it! :)
Well anyways, I am still packing... but hopefully I will be done in time for my dinner!

STIL

The STIL morning!

It is the morning of STIL!!! I got so much butterflies in my stomach!!! I am sitting here having an hour long breakfast and drinking my coffee in a robe at 5 am morning, yet I am so excited!!!!

Alot-to-do-day!

Today I just ran around doing errand for STIL fashion show, which is tomorrow night! Which is going to be AMAZING! Look at this wicked stage!!! Now I am off to bed for my 5 hour sleep, to then get cranking for the day I have been waiting for the past 9 months. Nighty night!!

I have failed. I have failed at packing. I hate packing. and I suck at it. So fail. Now I am off to run all my errands for the day, lunch with my lovely cousin, run more errands, work out and then have a lovely night with my dad! He has flown to see me just for tonight to say his goodbyes! I am almost off now. I couldn't be more anxious to see Henrik! A month can fly by and you hardly think of it and then BOOM last week, goes by like forevvvvver! Meh. Well anywho! Talk to you later!
